Frequently asked Questions

01. Is there a dress code?

No. Feel free to dress casually.

02. I am not really familiar with Christian church services and I don't know if I believe in God at all. Is it okay to come anyway just to check things out?

Absolutely! You won't be the first one and chances are you will not even be the only one (on any given Sunday). If you have any questions please feel free to talk to our pastors, ushers or the helpers at our Connection Center.

03. My English is not the best... ehrlich gesagt ist mein Englisch nicht so gut.

04. I have heard there will be a time of food and fellowship after the church service. How much does that cost?

Nothing. Food and Fellowship is an important part of church life for us because we love to connect and get to know each other better. And that works best over a coffee or a meal. So, just follow the crowd after the service...

05. I like the cultural diversity at IBC. Do you also give room for different religious traditions?

As a matter of fact, even though we are a Baptist church we see people from many different Christian denominations attending IBC. We enjoy a colorful and rich worship experience and believe that God is glorified through it (Rev 7:9). However, we do not want to celebrate culture for culture's sake. The reason we come together is to celebrate Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. When you attend IBC you will meet people from virtually every corner of the world who have come to believe that he is just that.
